On July 9, 1953 in Wilkes County, GA, Willie James Beck was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Claude (Sue Anne Watts) Beck. On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Pruitt Health-Swainsboro in Swainsboro, GA , Willie James Beck answered his call to eternity. 

 

Willie James  was educated in the Wilkes County School Systems. He was employed in the logging industry where he operated a skidder for Bill Ashmore Logging. He enjoyed playing the guitar, dancing ad listening to music. Most of all he enjoyed life to it’s fullest. He was affectionally called Bud or dancing machine by his family and friends. He was formerly married to Virginia Beck and to that union three children were born. 

 

Preceding him in death were, his parents, Willie C. Beck and Sue Anne Beck, siblings, Mattie Beck, Tommy Beck, and Willie Beck, Jr. 

 

He leaves to cherish many precious memories, three children, Takeya Beck (Jamaycus Hosley), Tyisha Beck (Corey Tutt), and Paul Handy, Jr. all of Lincolnton, GA; eleven grandchildren, Natrya Tutt, Nivorory Beck, Nakihia Tutt, Jaiveon Holsey, Karon Tutt, JaKarri Holsey, Kameris Andrews, Au’Kyries Hardy, Samyries Hardy, Myreon Barksdale, Jr., and Brycen Barksdale; three sisters, Annie Sue Sherman of Thomson, GA and Margaret Willis of Lincolnton, GA; three brothers, Lorenzo (Josphine) Beck, Alvader Beck, both of Lincolnton, GA, and Henry Beck of St. Helena Island, SC; three sisters-in-law, Brenda (Charles) Crite, Dorothy (Donald) Parks, and Preticia (Rashawn) Bennett all of Lincolnton, GA; five brothers-in-law, Grady (Gloria) Freeman of Augusta, GA, Melvin Anderson, Rodney Anderson, George Sherman, all of Lincolnton, GA, and Cherical (Iboya) Anderson of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to mourn his passing.
