MR. ROY LEE FERGUSON. JR was born the union of Roy Lee (Eleanor Berry) Ferguson, SR., on March 18, 1965, in his hometown of Lincolnton, GA, a place that held a special spot in his heart throughout his life. It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Roy Lee Ferguson, Jr., a beloved entrepreneur known for his establishment, Ferguson Snack Shack. His journey on this earth came to a peaceful end on February 14, 2024, at the Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah, GA.

Beyond his career, Roy had a deep love for sports and music. As a passionate fan of the Lincoln County Red Devils, the SC State Bulldogs, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, he found joy in cheering for his favorite teams. His enthusiasm was contagious, making every game day a memorable event.

In his leisure time, Roy enjoyed being the life of the party. His love for music and dancing filled every gathering with laughter and joy. He had a knack for connecting with others effortlessly - his great sense of humor and welcoming nature ensured he never met a stranger.

Roy's legacy extends beyond his professional and personal interests. He graduated high school with the class of 1983 and pursued higher education at South Carolina State University on a football scholarship. Additionally, He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and joined Parks Grove FBH Church at an early age.
