Lorenzo Eugene Lamont Wynn, affectionately known as "Mont," passed away on September 17, 2023, at his residence in Lincolnton, GA. Born on January 18, 1975, in Augusta, GA, Mont had a vibrant personality and touched the lives of many with his joyous spirit and love for his family. He was 48 years old at the time of his untimely passing.
Mont accept Christ has personal Savior and united with Faith Tabernacle Outreach Ministries. Growing up, Mont attended the Lincoln County public school system and was a member of the class of 1993. Mont was gainfully employed at Pine Knoll Farms and took pride in his work.
Outside of work and academics, Mont had a true zest for life. He loved to have fun and cherished spending time with his family and friends. Whether it was writing music, dancing, or singing, Mont's creative spirit found joy in these hobbies. His captivating performances would draw everyone closer together as they immersed themselves in the enchantment of his melodic tunes.
One of Mont's proudest accomplishments was starting a community prayer group for men. Recognizing the importance of faith and unity, he gathered like-minded individuals to share in spiritual growth and support one another through life's challenges. Mont's dedication to fostering a sense of community left an indelible mark on all those who participated.
Mont was preceded in death by his mother, Leatha Mae Wynn Curtis, his father, Freddie Eugene Beard and his brother, Telly Barksdale.
Mont will be deeply missed by his four sons: Lorenzo "Dre" Wynn, Donavon Wynn, Leithaniel Wright all of Hartwell, GA, and Izekiel Paul Leverett of Lincolnton, GA; a daughter, Khloe Peterson of Hartwell, GA; a sister, Tawana "Felicia" Barksdale; three brothers: Phillip Mahoney, Jermica (Shaniece) Willis both of Lincolnton, GA, and Cedric (Cassandra) Barksdale of Washington, GA; a bonus brother, Delvecchio Hunter of Atlanta, GA; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mont's larger-than-life personality and infectious laughter will be cherished in the memories shared by his loved ones.
