In loving memory of Larry Norman, a cherished soul who brought light and laughter into those around him. Larry, born September 2, 1956, in Lincolnton GA, peacefully passed away on July 9, 2024, at Wellstar Hospital in Augusta, GA.
Larry led a fulfilling life filled with love, humor, and compassion. He dedicated his days to his career as a machine operator at Pilgrims Pride until his health journey took a challenging turn. A man of faith, Larry's proudest accomplishment was accepting Christ as his personal savior and being an active member of Freedom Ministries.
In his leisure time, Larry found joy in shooting pool and engaging in friendly banter with those around him. Described as easy-going, quiet, calm, and collected by those who knew him best, he had a knack for spreading joy wherever he went through his lighthearted jokes and warm presence.
Larry's educational journey led him through the halls of the Lincoln County School System before graduating as part of the Class of 1975. Family was at the core of Larry's being, and he shared a deep bond with his loved ones. His marriage to Deborah Avery blessed him with a son who brought immense pride and joy into his life.
As we bid farewell to Larry in this world, we remember him fondly for the light he brought into our lives. His passing leaves a void that can never be filled but reminds us to cherish each moment we have with those we hold dear.
Larry is survived by his beloved sons, LaDesmond Norman of Washington, GA and Chadwick (Joy) Bussey of Grovetown, GA; cherished sisters, Judy Leverett, Angela Jones, Shenita (Raymond) Hearst-Clark all of Lincolnton, GA; caring brothers, Henry (Jackie) Hearst of Graniteville, SC, Donnie Hearst of Augusta, GA, and Darryl Ware of Lincolnton, GA; beloved aunts Willie Eva Bennett, Sarah Lee Norman, and Peggy Wynn both of Lincolnton, GA; two adoring grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
Preceding Larry in death are his loving wife, Deborah A. Norman, his dear parents, and his loving siblings, Linda Crite and Bobby Norman. Their spirits now welcome him into eternal peace.
May we find solace in the memories we shared with Larry and hold onto them dearly as we celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
