Henry Marion "Mack" Andrews

 Mr. Henry Marion “Mack” Andrews of Tignall, GA was born in Wilkes County, GA on June 20, 1932

to Charlie and Cora Willis Andrews. Henry went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2025 surrounded by family and friends.

Henry was a member of Pole Branch Baptist Church, although he joined the Shady Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

Henry retired with 20 years of faithful service from the Georgia Department of Transportation. He also worked with Gene Adams helping to transport show horses to different shows. He also worked with Kyle Brown on Broad Farms acting as foreman for 20 years. He was also one of the founders of the all-volunteer Tignall Fire Department. Henry was united in holy matrimony with Ida V. Hill on May 7, 1955.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Cheryl D. Tate, his parents, brothers, and sisters.

His legacy continues on through his loving wife of 69 years, Ida Virginia Andrews and devoted family; a daughter, Delphine Mayweather of Tignall, GA; a son, Kious (Ginger) Andrews of Tunnel Hill, GA; a son-in-law, George Tate of Evans, GA; Henry also leaves a host of sisters and brothers, Tommie Lou Walton, Evon Freeman, Sylvia Jones, Allen (Sarah) Andrews, Moses (Juanita) Andrews, Katie (Howard) Evans, Dennis Andrews, Peggy Jenkins, Kelvin (Bessie) Gartrell, Jessie (Wanda) Martin; sisters-in-law, Ann Hill and Lena Gartrell; grandchildren, Katrina Mayweather, Christopher (Keva) Tate, Marcus (T’nea) Mayweather, Lance (Jennifer) Andrews, and Joshua Andrews; great grandchildren, Kyson Andrews, Bryce Tate, Westlyn Andrews, Brayden Tate, and Love Andrews; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
