A TIME TO BE BORN: Ms. Elizabeth “Liz” Savannah Siler was born on June 8, 1942, in Lincolnton, Georgia, to the late Mr. Pat Norman from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Mrs. Lucy Mae Norman Partlow of Lincolnton, Georgia.
A TIME TO DIE: The windows of Heaven were opened on Friday, April 8, 2022, and a beautiful angel was welcomed home.
A TIME TO LIVE: At such a young age, Ms. Elizabeth Siler joined New Hope Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also attended North Braddock Scott High School in 1961. After she graduated from high school, she started her career at the Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Later, she was employed at Watts Funeral Home in Braddock, Pennsylvania until retirement. She loved serving others and they loved her servanthood.
Ms. Elizabeth Siler was full of life, joy, and happiness. She touched the lives of so many with her contagious smile and her huge hugs and kisses on the cheeks. Liz also enjoyed traveling with her best friends, visiting her family, and taking care of her great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her grandmother, Julia Starks Norman; brothers, Leonard Norman, John Norman, and Herman Norman, all from Pittsburgh, PA, Robert Frank (Bud) Partlow, Willie James Partlow, Tracy Partlow, and Fred Lee Partlow; and sisters, Betty H. Grant and Mary Helen Partlow.
A TIME TO MOURN: Ms. Elizabeth Siler leaves to cherish her memories: her loving daughter, Ms. Julieaundre “GiGi” Siler of Lincolnton, GA; very dearly, devoted caregiver and protector of the home, Mr. Joe. L. Norman (who called her “Liz Taylor”) of Lincolnton, GA; one grandchild, Andre Green of Pittsburgh, PA; one great-grandson, LaMiere Green; one great-granddaughter, MyKaela Green of Pittsburgh, PA; one brother, Willie C. Norman of Lincolnton, GA; four sisters, Mae Lou Tate, Patricia (Ann) Wright, both of Lincolnton, GA, Lillie Ree Walton of Tignall, GA, and Doretha Brown of Pittsburgh, PA; one sister-in-law, Doris Partlow of Lincolnton, GA; one aunt, Nancy L. Norman Hawes of Lincolnton, GA; two godsisters, Deborah DeVaugh and Barbara McCullum, both of Pittsburgh, PA; special cousin, Darisea “Tweety” Hammonds of Pittsburgh, PA;and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
